Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Field Service Specialist - Grinding. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team and be responsible for providing technical support to customers in the field. This includes performing mechanical service work, evaluating equipment failures, and promoting products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical trade, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on mechanical service work to Metso customers
  • Evaluate equipment failures and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
  • Promote products and services to customers through effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with grinding mills and other industrial equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics
  • Basic computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel
