Corporate Lawyer Role

As a Corporate Lawyer at our firm, you will work on complex corporate matters within a high-performing team in Canberra.

  • You will work across corporate contracting, IP and data privacy, commercial litigation, funds (private equity and venture capital), financial services and regulatory, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Engage with high-profile clients and significant transactions regularly featured in the Australian Financial Review.
  • Have direct client contact and build deep client relationships and networks.
  • Assist the team on a variety of corporate matters from the beginning.
  • Participate in complex and market-leading legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality legal advice to clients on corporate matters.
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Recent law graduate or approximately 1 year of legal experience.
  • Strong technical skills and passion for high-quality work.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of client drivers and business environments.
  • Excellent social skills and attitude to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Residency.
