Corporate Lawyer (2-5 Years PQE) - Government and Commercial Advisory Role

 

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially savvy corporate lawyer to broaden their horizons with a dynamic and collaborative legal team. We are seeking a motivated lawyer with 2–5 years' PQE, ideally with a blend of private sector and government work, to join our growing practice.

As a Corporate Lawyer in this role, you will play a critical part in advising clients on a diverse range of matters including:

  • Shareholders agreements and corporate structuring;
  • Sale and acquisition of business assets and shares;
  • Capital raising transactions, including private equity and venture capital;
  • Mid-market M&A transactions; and
  • Regulatory compliance and governance.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 2-5 years' experience in corporate/commercial law;
  • Some exposure to government advisory or in-house public sector roles (preferred but not essential);
  • A strong understanding of the Corporations Act and regulatory frameworks;
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end transactions.
