Corporate Lawyer Role

The position of Corporate Lawyer involves working on intricate corporate matters within a supportive and high-performing team in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work across corporate contracting, intellectual property, data privacy, commercial litigation, funds (private equity and venture capital), financial services and regulatory, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Engage with high-profile clients and significant transactions regularly featured in the Australian Financial Review.
  • Have direct client contact and build deep client relationships and networks.
  • Assist the team on various corporate matters from inception.
  • Participate in complex and market-leading legal matters.
About You:
  • A recent law graduate or approximately one year of legal experience is required.
  • Strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality work to sophisticated clients are necessary.
  • You must be commercially astute with an understanding of client drivers and business environments.
  • Excellent social skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service are essential.
  • You must have attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Residency is mandatory.
