Job Opportunity

Our team seeks a Lawyer to join our Corporate and Financial Services practice in Sydney. This role offers a diverse mix of corporate and financial services work with a focus on primary sectors including investment funds, banking, payments, insurance products, and services.

The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality advice across areas such as Chapter 7 (Financial Services regime) and Part 5C (managed investment schemes) of the Corporations Act, financial services licensing, compliance, governance, and disclosure, AML/CTF obligations, banking, and payments, fundraising, and licensing matters.

Exposure to regulatory frameworks, working directly with clients, and contributing to an innovative approach to service delivery leveraging technology for efficient legal solutions is expected.

Requirements
  • Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Interest in corporate and financial services regulation is essential.
  • Keen to develop expertise in banking, payments, funds, and the investment sector.
  • Comfortable working across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
