Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Lead the development of frameworks and standard operating procedures for the delivery of managed services to government clients.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on complex procurement projects, ensuring quality project outcomes are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Apply procurement and contracting principles, as well as legal interpretation and application, to ensure compliance with legislative rules, policy, and governance.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or changing requirements, forecasting and identifying issues, and implementing practical solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong staff management skills, including the ability to motivate and build staff capability.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including written and oral communication, liaison, presentation, influencing, negotiation, and representational skills.
  • A strong ability to understand and develop documentation for and manage complex procurements.
