Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Director to join our team at the Australian Capital Territory. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-efficient procurement and supply of goods and services associated with the delivery of core functions and services to the ACT community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procurement processes.
  • Lead a team responsible for supporting the procurement and purchasing functions, including contract management and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct procurement-related research and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to procurement and contract management.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Procurement and Contract Management is highly desirable.
  • A 'C' Class Driver's Licence is essential.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration is required prior to commencing the role.
  • Background / Security clearance checks will be conducted.
