Children's Ministry Leader Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Children's Ministry Leader to oversee our programs for kids from birth to the end of primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing clear pathways for children and their families to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise oversight of the discipleship program for children from birth to the end of primary school.
  • Foster a sense of Christian community among school-aged children as they progress through infancy, childhood, and pre-teen years.
  • Coordinate, lead, and oversee our Sunday and Friday kids' programs.
  • Select relevant curriculum material for all kids' programs.
  • Recruit, equip and mentor our volunteer kids' ministry leaders in partnership with the ministry team.
  • Plan and leading special events, camps, and outreach activities that seek to reach primary school aged children with the gospel.
  • Ensure that Safe Ministry policies and practices are implemented and adhered to.
About You:
  • You must be a wholehearted and devoted disciple of Jesus, who has been soundly discipled and trained in the truth of the gospel.
  • You must be gifted by the Holy Spirit to disciple and evangelise young children, along with their families, in the faith.
  • You must have passionate, heartfelt, Spirit-inspired enthusiasm to see young children within the household of God grow up in the faith and grow in their intimate knowledge of God.
Requirements:
  • You must be eligible to reside and work in Australia.
  • You must be able to be licensed by the Archbishop for parish ministry.
  • You must meet all Safe Ministry requirements.
