We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our admissions team. Reporting to the Manager Customer Services Team, you will provide leadership and coordinate team member activities to ensure efficient and effective assessments and admissions of Residential and Community customers.

The ideal candidate will have previous success within a leadership position with demonstrated experience mentoring, training, motivating, coaching and developing a diverse team. A high level of computer literacy with exposure to systems such as Procura and iCare is highly advantageous.

You will be responsible for managing, coaching and mentoring a team made up of clinical and non-clinical team members ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external stakeholders. You will also ensure that all processes, information, database systems and documentation used and provided by the Service Team are current, accurate and of a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating team rosters and shifts
  • Processing team timesheets and monitoring the training matrix
  • Assisting with reporting requirements and ensuring all KPI's and SLA's are met and exceeded
  • Proactive management of complaints and staff performance related issues

About this role:

  • Responsible for providing oversight and leadership of the admissions team
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience in Aged Care including Residential and Community Services
  • Familiarity with the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Home Care Guidelines 2013
