Admissions Coordinator Job Description

This pivotal role coordinates the admissions process, ensuring exceptional customer service for residents and their families. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and responding to inquiries from prospective residents and their families.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date resident waitlist database.
  • Preparing contracts and resident files.
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the admissions process and optimize care centre occupancy.
  • Following up on outstanding RAD and DAP payments.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience working in a high-level coordinator role.
  • Previous experience working in aged care (or related sector).
  • Demonstrated understanding of Commonwealth and State Funding structures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to superior customer service.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
