About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Project Coordinator for commercial insurance repairs in Melbourne. As a key member of our project management team, you will oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
You will be responsible for coordinating with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and developing and implementing project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment selection and inventory tracking are also part of your duties.
You will review projects to schedule deliverables and estimate costs for profitability, prepare internal and external job status reports, negotiate agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
A strong client relationship focus ensures their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle, while providing leadership and guidance to the project management team.
Requirements- Degree/Qualification in Construction Management or Building & Construction
- Relevant state Builders License
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project management principles
- Proven track record of delivering major projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
- Proficiency in MS Project/Excel and other construction scheduling software
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Knowledge of OH&S legislation
