Job Summary

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team, providing individualized support to people with disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide customers to develop skills and explore personal interests
  • Cultivate independent living skills, including cooking, domestic, and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Complete clear and concise handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care, such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required
Requirements
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends
  • Versatile communication skills, including interaction with verbal and non-verbal customers
  • Current driver's license (mandatory)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003
  • Up-to-date Covid Vaccinations
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar (advantageous)
