We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as Developmental Educators at Everyday Independence.

About the Role:

  • As a Developmental Educator, you will provide person-centered support and planning for people with disabilities, their families, and support teams.
  • You will work alongside participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges, and champion the role of a social model practitioner.
  • Your primary focus will be on helping people overcome barriers that prevent them from engaging with their local community and the wider world.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Masters of Disability (or equivalent) and eligibility to become a member of the DEAI upon commencement.
  • Passion for removing barriers using the social model of therapy.
  • Empathy, understanding, and strong advocacy for empowering people with disabilities.
  • Able to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children's Check.
  • Holding a valid driver's license.
