This key role is crucial for our production operations. We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Technician to optimize manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineers and production teams to enhance productivity.
The technician will also support engineers in project development by building or procuring test equipment and conducting tests, including process validations.
- Develop and revise production documentation, such as travelers, routings, drawings, work and inspection instructions, and BOMs, ensuring the availability of accurate information for quality product assembly.
- Assist in improving manufacturing methods and procedures, including drafting change orders and deviations.
- Program production equipment effectively.
- Identify and resolve process, material, or equipment issues, offering solutions to minimize downtime.
- Design, assemble, procure, or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment for efficient production methods.
- Schedule, perform, and document routine maintenance on manufacturing and testing equipment.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues at various organizational levels.
- Contribute to team success by undertaking additional tasks as necessary.
Key qualifications and skills include an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field, strong communication skills, proficiency in computer software, knowledge of electronics industry standards, and hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
