The Opportunity

We are offering a permanent position for a Process Engineer to join our team as part of our Manufacturing division based in Brisbane.

As part of a larger group of talented engineers, the Process Engineer will work collaboratively across diverse teams to develop stable and reliable manufacturing processes, support supply chain or manufacturing improvement projects and ensure we continue to manufacture increasing volumes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing safe, scalable, stable, and robust manufacturing processes across the manufacturing network for new and commercially available products.
  • Supporting the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials including installation, calibration, assessment, and debug.
  • Ensuring all associated process and quality system documentation requirements comply with our quality management system.
  • Planning and developing engineering work packages concerned with unique problems or team challenges.
  • Supporting the execution and documentation of process validation builds, coordinating testing of characterization, verification, and validation units.
  • Responsible for meeting the manufacturing network optimization strategy by relocating/duplicating processes across the manufacturing network.
About You

To add value to us in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • An engineering professional who applies scientific and engineering knowledge, mathematics, and statistical ingenuity to complete projects.
  • Demonstrable basic technical expertise on process/product technologies to support design, optimisation, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of DFSS/DMAIC tools, problem-solving & decision-making, PDCA, DOE's, and demonstrable experience in the application of these tools.
