Job Description

Magnetica is a medical device company seeking a skilled Procurement and Administration Officer to support its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase requests, and service orders in a timely manner.
  • Monitor shipment and delivery schedules, addressing any delays or discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and products/services.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock without overstocking, and reorder points.
  • Regularly report to the Supply Chain Manager on procurement activities, budget status, and vendor performance.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment for high-value, low-volume, complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Global sourcing experience, including identifying alternate suppliers.
  • Awareness of logistics solutions and their impact on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Experience working within a certified quality management system environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
