The organization is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join their procurement team and support the end-to-end procurement activities across the organization. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role will involve working with a diverse range of established suppliers as well as sourcing new suppliers when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement team in developing and implementing procurement strategies and processes
  • Procure goods and services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for cost savings

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
  • Experience in a procurement role with demonstrated stakeholder liaison skills
  • Thorough understanding of procurement standards and regulations
  • Technical skills in MS Office Suite and ERP systems
