Midwifery Training OpportunityWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Midwifery Program at Northern Beaches Hospital.This program will provide you with a supportive and caring environment in which to learn, develop and consolidate clinical skills in midwifery.About the Program
  • Experienced preceptors for initial and ongoing support

Selection Criteria
  • Current Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Registered Nurse with minimum 1 year full time experience in an acute care setting
  • Concurrent Enrolment in a Diploma of Midwifery University program at UTS or WSU
  • Ability to undertake Part Time employment of FTE 0.84, 8 and 12 hr shifts on a 7-day rotating roster
  • Understanding the role of a midwife within a primary healthcare framework
  • Demonstrated ability in clinical problem solving
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of, and ability to work within a team
