Urban Transport Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and delivery of traffic engineering projects, encompassing intersections, cycling networks, and streetscapes. This role requires a deep understanding of urban transport solutions and traffic management.
About the Position- Manage concept design and delivery of traffic engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
- Conduct Road Safety Audits, crash analysis, and Traffic Impact Assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with consultants to develop project briefs and manage budgets through design phases.
- Provide technical expertise to support capital works and development projects, contributing to the company's success.
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork within the organization.
- A tertiary qualification in traffic engineering, transport planning, or civil engineering is essential.
- Proven experience in traffic engineering design and operations, preferably in an urban or local government context.
- A strong understanding of Road Safety Audits, TIAs, and transport design standards is crucial for this role.
- Excellent communication and project management skills are required to succeed in this position.
