Job Title: Tile, Marble and Terrazzo Setting Contractor - Supervisor

At Macropus Global, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tile, Marble and Terrazzo Setting Contractor - Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and repair of natural stone and tile products for high-end custom residential homes and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of tile setters to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
  • Inspect and verify the integrity of new or existing substrates.
  • Install walls, floors, countertops, partitions, and other related structures or surfaces for both commercial and residential interior and exterior projects.
  • Repair and fabricate materials as needed, including cutting or breaking materials using hammers, power drills, and/or hand tools.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate and resolve installation issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in stone and tile setting, with a strong background in measurements and installation of counters, flooring, wall and ceiling tile and stone.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, and be a team player with a progressive, helpful attitude towards customer service.
  • Knowledge and ownership of related tools, masonry techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with dimensions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of installation and fabrication experience.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and flatbeds.
