**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Tile and Stone Installer to join our team at Macropus Global. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of natural stone and tile products for high-end custom residential homes and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare surfaces prior to beginning work, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Cut or break materials using hammers, power drills, and/or hand tools, as needed.
  • Lay stone, tile, marble, granite, etc. following plans or shop drawings.
  • Install walls, floors, countertops, partitions, and other related structures or surfaces for both commercial and residential interior and exterior projects.
  • Fabricate in the field and repair any chips, scratches, or defects in materials as needed.
  • Attach and install countertops, drill holes for fixtures as needed.
  • Verify the integrity of new or existing substrates.
  • Ensure that all joints are properly done, all splashes are caulked, all holes are drilled, and all counters are cleaned and sealed.
  • Inspect that the jobsite is thoroughly cleaned, both inside and outside, prior to leaving.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and contractors to coordinate and resolve installation issues.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in stone and tile setting.
  • Strong knowledge and ownership of related tools, masonry techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with dimensions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of installation and fabrication experience.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
