- Manual Handling Support: Provide assistance with transfers, lifting, and positioning, ensuring the safe and effective use of hoisting equipment.
- Hoisting Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain hoisting equipment to facilitate client mobility and comfort.
- Client Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging social engagement and community participation among clients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
- Essential Experience: Proven experience in manual handling and hoisting is required.
- Desirable Qualifications: A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field is highly desirable.
- Personal Attributes: Compassionate, patient approach with excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility, and willingness to work 3-4 hours per shift.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
