As a Caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and domestic duties. You will also engage clients in community activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support with personal care, showering, toileting, dressing, and other daily needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility, using hoists and slide sheets when necessary.
- Perform domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly a Yellow Card).
- A valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed.
- A smartphone with iOS 13.0 or later operating system or Android 6.0 or later operating system.
- An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications, estimated at around $33.01 per hour for casual positions.
- Above award minimum pay level.
- Paid training provided by health professionals.
- Additional penalty rates for night and weekend shifts.
- Salary packaging benefits for permanent part-time employees.
