Ecologist Job Description">

As an Ecologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in designing the future of engineering and shape your own career along the journey.

You will work as part of an inclusive, collaborative, and diverse team, delivering projects ranging from ecology, environmental approvals and permits, and environmental compliance.

Your day-to-day tasks could include participating in field and laboratory work such as sampling and testing, data analysis and report preparation, developing practical and commercial solutions to problems, and undertaking work-related training and self-development for career advancement.

Additionally, you will collaborate with project staff and work within a team of technical specialists in their field, conducting targeted flora and fauna surveys and providing ecological advice on focussing flora and fauna identification, conservation and management.

The role involves exposure to industry leaders and projects like the Urban Utilities Integrated Engineering Services Program, Whites Seahorse hotel and Cumberland Plain Koala Exclusion Fencing Feasibility Study.

You will also be provided with technical support and encouragement through our accredited 2-year world-class graduate development program.
