As an Environmental Specialist, you will play a key role in evaluating and improving environmental impact, overseeing compliance with health and environmental standards, and managing food safety systems within our meals and kitchen services.

### Key Responsibilities:
  • Environmental Stewardship:
    • Conduct thorough audits and risk assessments across facilities and home environments.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives related to food services for vulnerable populations.
    • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant environmental and health regulations.
    • Prepare detailed technical reports, improvement plans, and compliance documentation.
    • Provide guidance on best environmental practices and food services for vulnerable populations.
  • Food Supervision and Kitchen Management:
    • Oversee the implementation of a Food Safety Program in compliance with Victorian requirements.
    • Supervise preparation, storage, and distribution of meals to clients.
    • Implement and monitor effective food safety plans.
    • Conduct regular food safety audits and maintain accurate records and logs.
    • Train and supervise staff in safe food handling and environmental health practices.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Coordinate food delivery services with tailored dietary needs for clients.
    • Engage directly with clients and vulnerable people to assess satisfaction, feedback, and individual support needs.
    • Support holistic wellbeing by integrating environmental health into care plans and service delivery.
