Job Title: Corporate Lawyer

 

Job Description:

The role of a commercial lawyer is to draft, review and negotiate various agreements including supplier, distribution, licensing, technology, and marketing contracts. They are also expected to advise on consumer law, advertising, promotions, privacy/data protection, and competition law.

  • Draft and review commercial agreements.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Advise on consumer law, advertising, promotions, privacy/data protection, and competition law.

They will work closely with the business team to ensure compliance from concept through delivery.

Additionally, they will contribute to governance and risk frameworks by developing policies, procedures, and training programs.

They will also be responsible for managing relationships with external legal providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.

Furthermore, they will assist with dispute resolution, regulatory engagement, and intellectual property protection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years' PQE gained in-house or in private practice, with strong commercial law experience. They should possess excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
