The Role

Due to growth, our client is looking for a talented corporate/commercial lawyer with at least 2 years post admission experience.

This team advises on the full spectrum of corporate law issues. A flavour of the work will include:

  • private M&A transactions
  • complex joint ventures
  • drafting share-holder agreements
  • corporate structuring, capital reductions
  • advising on director's duties and compliance with the Corporations Act
  • due diligences
  • drafting high value commercial contracts
  • general corporate advisory

About You

To be successful in this position, you need:

  • At least 2 years experience in the area of corporate/commercial law
  • To have a client service mentality and a desire to get to know the client's business
  • To be confident, capable and have excellent interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
  • To enjoy collaborating and working in a team environment
  • A commercial pragmatic approach as well as strong technical skills
