About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join our team at one of Sydney's premier senior living facilities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents
- Allocate duties and responsibilities to staff members based on their experience and qualifications
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in care delivery
- Oversee medication management policies to ensure the safe and effective use of medications
- Conduct competency assessments to evaluate staff performance and identify areas for development
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Be fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a management role
- Have a working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Be familiar with the Australian Network for Aged Care Clinical Excellence (ANACC) processes
