Rizing, a leading provider of SAP consulting and implementation services, is seeking an experienced Strategic SAP HCM Project Manager Lead to join its Professional Services team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading single module to mid-size SAP HCM and SuccessFactors software implementation projects for customers. This will involve serving as the single point of contact for customer projects, creating and managing project plans, managing resources, staffing, and budgets, and monitoring and identifying project issues early-on to mitigate risks for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead single module to mid-size SAP HCM and SuccessFactors software implementation projects for customers.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for customer projects.
  • Create and manage project plans.
  • Manage resources, staffing, and budgets.
  • Monitor and identify project issues early-on to mitigate risks for clients.
  • Align schedules between company and customer.
  • Coordinate with HCM PMO team to set up project tools to support clients, resource project teams with Rizing consultants, and prepare clients and project teams for project kickoff.
  • Track and manage project progress in terms of scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Identify and document scope changes for Change Request/Change Order documentation and approval management.
  • Notify PMO and/or Executive Management of risks/issues when concerns arise.
  • Maintain and manage risks, actions, issues, and decisions log.
  • Track and monitor budget and forecast of hours for duration to project completion.
  • Maintain hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are completed and on time.
  • Escalations management identifying root cause, putting action plan, and control/monitoring.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or Business or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Project management processes and tools.
  • PMP certification required within 18 months of beginning Project Management role.
  • Hands-on experience leading software implementation projects as part of the Project Management team.
Desired Qualifications

Candidates who possess the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, computer science, information systems, business administration or related field strong preferred.
  • PMP, Prince2, Agile, and/or SCRUM Certification.
  • SF Modules Certifications (EC strongly preferred).

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
