Square Business Development Representative

At Block, we're building a more inclusive economy by providing tools and services that help businesses grow. As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in identifying and promoting the value of Square to prospective sellers in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of the global Square product ecosystem and its benefits for SMB Australian merchants.
  • Use storytelling and case studies to effectively communicate the value of Square to prospective sellers.
  • Research and prospect large value merchants across Australia, understanding how to handle objections and close deals.
  • Utilize multi-channel outreach methods to qualify leads and schedule meetings with our Account Executive team.
  • Represent Square and our product ecosystem in the local Victorian and national Australian markets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest business, industry, and product trends.

Qualifications:

  • Desire to further develop your career in sales.
  • Passion for technology and the industry Square operates in.
  • Experience in a qualifying prospecting role with the ability to conduct outbound multi-channel outreach.
  • Passion, curiosity, hunger, and perseverance.
  • Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities.
