Job Summary

We are seeking a professional to support the development, implementation, and management of sustainability strategies and initiatives across departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental stewardship and be able to drive projects to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage sustainability programs, including energy, water, and waste management policies and procedures
  • Conduct basic audits and risk assessments, ensuring non-conformances are recorded and followed up
  • Capture, monitor, and analyze sustainability data, assisting with report compilation
  • Support waste reduction, recycling, and community/environmental initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for sustainability-related projects, including meetings, minutes, and documentation
  • Participate in employee awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and newsletters on sustainable practices
  • Stay up-to-date on new sustainable technologies and share insights with the team
  • Support compliance processes, sustainability audits, and data submissions
  • Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to support sustainability targets

Requirements

  • Relevant degree (Bachelor's or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a sustainability-related role advantageous or evidence of passion for sustainability
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good numeracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
