Job Title:

Junior Environmental and Risk Officer

This role is responsible for supporting sustainability initiatives and ensuring full compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations at a client site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all incidents relevant to safety, health, and environment are reported, investigated, corrected, and learnings disseminated.
  • Monitor and maintain environmental authorisations, operating licenses/permits, and ensure compliance with conditions.
  • Develop and maintain occupational health management and monitoring programs.
  • Manage SHER site surveys, audits, and assessments.
  • Drive the culture of quality, health, and safety by raising awareness through various initiatives, communication plans, and training.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in environmental risk management, a degree in Environmental Management Sciences, and knowledge of ISO 14001:2015, NEMA, OHSA, and other environmental standards.
