Change Manager Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical program within a prominent Federal Government department. The role involves establishing and delivering the change strategy for a multi-year, multi-phase program focused on improving passport security and integrity in the Pacific.

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive change strategy, including interventions, communications, and governance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and direct the capability uplift of a partner nation team.
  • Manage program risks and issues, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Lead a cross-functional team, providing direction and guidance to achieve program goals.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance forums.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
Requirements
  • Change Management Expertise: Strong background in change management, including strategy development and implementation within complex projects.
  • Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to lead a team independently, manage multiple priorities, and work with broad direction.
  • Cultural Awareness: Experience working on culturally sensitive projects, with a proven ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders respectfully.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, assess risks, and develop solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Well-developed capacity for collaboration and communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
