About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Correctional Educator to provide high-quality learning services to students undertaking accredited training and instructional programs within a correctional environment.

As part of our team, you will deliver and assess VET-registered education programs, providing training and assessment for prisoners in line with the priorities of the Department for Correctional Services (DCS). You will also determine flexible delivery methodologies within prescribed limits of the training program.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess VTEC-SA registered education programs of study or training
  • Provide training and assessment for prisoners in line with DCS priorities
  • Determine flexible delivery methodologies within prescribed limits of the training program
Requirements
  1. Necessary training and assessment competencies as determined by the National Skills Standards Council, or its successors
  2. Relevant vocational certificate/competencies at least to the level of certificate being delivered or assessed
