Salary: $99,938 - $110,271 pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 5/6).

Your roleAs a Community Corrections Officer, you will join a dedicated and dynamic team focused on offender rehabilitation and enhancing community safety. In this role, you will collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions.

What you'll doCommunity Corrections Officers are trained to manage cases for individuals serving community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders. In some locations, officers also work with offenders in custody to prepare them for successful reintegration into the community upon their release on parole. This role offers extensive training opportunities and pathways for career advancement. Successful candidates will be required to complete a mandatory four-week, in-person, paid training program at Corrective Services Brush Farm Academy, which is a key component of the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice curriculum.
