Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day operations of our finance department. Working closely with our Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a key part in financial management.

The Senior Accountant will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting and compliance, month-end forecasting, and cashflow forecasting.

This is an opportunity to develop within a supportive finance team and gain exposure to various tasks in a dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Accounting & Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple entities
    • Complete annual financial statements for submission to external advisors
    • Maintain the general ledger with accuracy and integrity
    • Assist with weekly cashflow forecasting and reporting
    • Support the external audit process
    • Deliver ad hoc financial reports
  • Accounting Systems & Cost Control:
    • Oversee accounts receivable and provide system support
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure invoice payment
  • Management Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards
    • Partner with department leads to meet their financial reporting needs
  • Banking, Treasury & Cash Management:
    • Manage and maintain multiple bank accounts and facilities
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Provide guidance to the accounts payable team
  • Compliance & Taxation:
    • Prepare and lodge monthly BAS
