Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Develop, maintain, and contribute to high cleaning and service standards in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, mentoring, and leading a team of housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain a well-stocked department.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet our luxury standards.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel services and amenities to assist guests effectively.
  • Uphold safety and cleanliness standards, including compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role in a hotel is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of housekeeping management software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations.
  • Fitness to be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling.
  • Strength to lift, push, or pull big objects like barrels & crates up to 23 kg.
  • Flexible night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Experience with utilizing Opera and HUBOs is highly desirable but not essential.
