
HR Labour Relations Specialist

Our organisation seeks an experienced labour relations expert to lead strategic HR initiatives and ensure compliance with evolving employment legislation. This role partners closely with the leadership team to deliver enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution, and analytics-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field, with minimum 5 years' experience in Australian labour relations, including enterprise bargaining and dispute resolution. They should possess in-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
This role oversees all HR activities across the region in collaboration with the HR team and requires travel may be required across Australian base locations, occasionally on short notice. The successful applicant must have valid Australian work rights or citizenship to obtain and maintain any required clearances for the position.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic labour relations initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
- Manage enterprise bargaining agreements, including negotiation strategy, stakeholder engagement, and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain relationships with trade unions, regulators, and internal stakeholders to foster cooperative industrial relations.
- Provide expert interpretation of modern awards, employment contracts, and HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
- Advise and support management in performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations, with a focus on psychosocial safety.
- Drive organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, talent development, and succession planning.
