Our client, a prominent institutional equities broking and advisory firm, is in search of a seasoned ECM / Corporate Finance Associate to report directly to the Head of Corporate Finance. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of relevant experience following their university education in Corporate Advisory, ECM, IBD, or M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all equity transactions within a compact team of four professionals.
  • Engage in a variety of transactions, including IPOs, Rights Issues, Capital Raisings, and both private and public placements. This role will involve drafting and negotiating essential transaction documents while managing relationships with external clients.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams across the organization to provide a cohesive service to clients.
  • Develop and maintain external client relationships, contributing to business development efforts for both existing and prospective clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced Senior Analyst or Associate with 3-6 years of experience in a related corporate advisory, ECM, M&A, or IBD role, or legal capital markets background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in equity capital markets, including rights issues, IPOs, and capital raisings, preferably within the Australian market.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities, combined with a high level of commitment and a practical mindset.
