About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Capital Markets Associate to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our Debt Capital Markets franchise in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in Australia and New Zealand, including corporates and financial institutions.
  • Identify capital market trends and address clients' needs in terms of raising and managing capital in the debt capital markets.
  • Provide best-in-class advisory services to clients, including transaction management advisory and balance sheet advisory.
  • Represent our team in internal dialogues and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or a professional financial qualification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in debt capital markets, with a focus on origination and execution.
  • Experience working with clients in Australia and New Zealand, particularly in the EUR, GBP, and USD markets.
  • Strong knowledge of debt capital markets products, including bonds, covered bonds, and liability management.
  • Ability to generate pitch material and understand and manage risks for the business line and the organization.
