Experis seeks an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, QLD.

We are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker who can contribute to high-priority projects for the Department, Australian Border Force, and National Emergency Management Agency.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic planning, mapping, and modeling development to support business growth.
  • Lead gap analysis to assess existing capabilities against future visualization needs.
  • Develop the solution blueprint for a future visualization capability.
  • Communicate business needs to stakeholders at various levels (enterprise, program, operational, and project).
  • Prioritize business requirements with stakeholders to enhance overall business efficacy.
  • Manage multiple complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Present comprehensive business information to facilitate solution design and application support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to devise innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Foster effective working relationships characterized by ethics, trust, and organization.
  • Lead or participate in teams to achieve designated outcomes, requiring both team leadership and technical leadership skills.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops to extract and define business requirements and processes.
  • Document new and existing business practices clearly and ensure stakeholder agreement and sign-off.

Deliverables:

  • Create workflows, events, and sequencing diagrams.
  • Develop high-level and detailed business requirements documents.
  • Prepare functional and non-functional specifications, defect resolution specifications, and technical specifications.
  • Formulate risk management plans and requirements management plans.
  • Produce use case models and specifications.

Estimated Salary: AU$100,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
