Job Title: Senior Governance Advisor

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a landmark infrastructure project, shaping the future of transportation in Brisbane and beyond.

As a Senior Governance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting senior decision-making on one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure projects. You will provide high-level governance and secretariat support to senior program and project-level forums, including committees, project control boards, and executive meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Providing governance and secretariat support to senior program and project-level forums">
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality meeting packs, including agendas, briefing notes, papers, minutes, actions, memoranda, submissions, and presentations">
  • Coordinating governance reporting requirements across Program Delivery, collating and distributing timely reports, briefings, presentations, and information papers with accuracy and integrity">
  • Maintaining governance registers, including minutes, actions, and decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability">
  • Supporting the development, review, and improvement of governance frameworks and contributing to the establishment of new governance bodies">
  • Monitoring compliance with governance processes, escalating risks or issues where required">

Requirements for this role include:

  • ">
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to senior governance forums">
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance processes, frameworks, reporting, and compliance requirements">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare documentation tailored to different audiences">
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders">
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and SharePoint, with experience editing and formatting to meet governance submission standards">
  • Experience with Document Management sharing tools, such as TRIM/Content Manager, is highly regarded">
