Corporate Services Manager Job

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our governance, board management, and corporate services functions.

  • This role involves overseeing all aspects of Board and Sub-Committee operations, including meeting papers, reports, policies, schedules, and records.
  • You will support the CEO in preparing reports for the Board and State Council.
  • Your responsibilities will also include managing onboarding, orientation, and training requirements for Directors.
  • You will provide high-level administrative support to Directors and Sub-Committee members.
  • Lead board performance appraisals and contribute to key reports such as the Chairman's Address for the AGM.
  • Manage Diligent Boards software and ensure governance resources remain accurate and accessible.
  • Assist with strategic priorities, projects, and financial reporting inputs.
  • Evaluate compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in governance systems, processes, and documentation.
About You
  • You are a confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a governance-focused environment.
  • You have strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster trusted relationships with Boards, executives, and stakeholders.
  • To be successful, you will bring:
    • Experience working with Boards of Directors or senior leadership in a governance capacity.
    • Tertiary qualifications in business management, corporate governance, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience across multiple business functions.
    • Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation and reporting at an executive level.
    • A very strong eye for detail.
    • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and team-oriented approach.
    • Understanding of risk management, compliance, business continuity, and quality improvement.
