About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist Commercial Claims to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our Commercial Claims team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Agency and Schemes team to design and implement processes for onboarding and maintaining distribution partner relationships.
  • Create and embed strong financial controls around imprest account management and bordereaux claims payment processing.
  • Manage claims relationships with internal stakeholders and onboarded distribution partners.
  • Ensure quality assurance reviews for outsourced claims management arrangements are conducted in compliance with Suncorp's Quality Audit Governance Standard and contractual obligations with distribution partners.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of claims processes as they relate to Scheme and Agency Binder arrangements, particularly in long tail claim portfolios.
  • Robust understanding of GICoP, Insurance regulatory environment and Suncorp's Enterprise Risk Framework.
  • Relevant experience in commercial claims, risk or binder management environments.
  • Ability to deal with complex issues, build relationships at all levels, and negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
