Strategic Broker Partnership Leader

Zurich Australia is seeking a Strategic Broker Partnership Leader to drive business growth and develop strategic trading relationships with top-tier brokers. Reporting to the State Manager, this role shapes partnerships that unlock growth opportunities across all lines of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of broker businesses to identify strategic and transactional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and risk engineering to deliver value propositions across all segments.
  • Drive communication, transparency, and accountability across broker relationships and internal teams.
  • Analyse competitor intelligence to gain market advantage.
  • Design and embed relationship infrastructure across relevant lines and segments.
  • Represent Zurich at industry events and ensure consistent messaging in partnership with marketing and leadership.
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of industry experience in a broker-facing or strategic sales role.
  • ANZIIF CIP membership or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting and claims processes.
  • Proven ability to develop long-term business relationships and strategic plans.
  • Experience in relationship/strategic selling, ideally within insurance.
  • Operational management experience and a passion for driving business growth.
