AWS Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Trainee

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join our growing Infrastructure Delivery team at Amazon. As a Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Trainee, you will be responsible for installing and testing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to security and safety best practices in the Data Center.
- Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling.
- Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
- Creating/attaching labels and barcodes.
- Regularly lift 15kg or move objects into position.
- Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
- Managing inventory of related materials.
- Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.
- Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.
- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required, some travel outside traditional work area may be requested.
Requirements
- Climbing Step Platform Ladder or working from EWP.
- Able to lift 15kg regularly during the day.
- Demonstrate Fibre/copper background.
- Understanding of cabling procedure.

Basic Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
- Work 10 hour shifts as needed.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
- Structure Cabling Certification (ACMA).
