Compliance Expertise

The role requires in-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, regulatory landscapes, and risk management principles. As a key member of the wider Payments and Schemes team, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Scheme Rules and supporting documents.

This is a subject matter expert position, responsible for managing and monitoring member activity, delivering best-in-class portfolio management, and enhancing processes to support day-to-day compliance cases.

  • Delivering and embedding effective portfolio management relating to member accounts and maintaining a regular engagement cadence.
  • Supporting the overall team by optimizing processes in the management of day-to-day compliance cases.
  • Coordinating and processing member non-compliance tickets with appropriate actions within agreed SLAs.
  • Facilitating conversations with relevant stakeholders on non-compliance matters, remediation plans, and compliance exemptions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, Payment Operations, and Fraud to ensure that all compliance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in compliance in either the payments industry or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks across either the payments industry or financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory landscape of either the payments industry, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of effective risk and control frameworks.
