Job Description:

As a Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in generating and increasing revenue through community-based fundraising initiatives. This includes developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth, build relationships with key stakeholders, and enhance the overall fundraising experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver community fundraising initiatives that meet or exceed agreed annual income budgets and targets.
  • Coordinate and grow existing community fundraising initiatives, including DIY fundraisers and third-party peer-to-peer events.
  • Steward all fundraisers, providing support and resources to increase their fundraising efforts.
  • Proactively promote Very Special Kids to individuals, community groups, and organizations to enable them to fundraise on our behalf.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and nonprofit development is desirable.
