Our goal is to create a society where mental health and physical health are valued equally. We need someone to support us in achieving this vision by developing and implementing strategies for our community fundraising program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the community fundraising program, which represents a significant source of revenue for us. They will develop project plans for large challenge events and smaller events, as well as improve communications journeys for fundraisers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. They will also be able to analyze data and make recommendations for program improvement.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Challenge Events

- Develop and implement project plans for approximately 10 large challenge events and several smaller events each year covering deliverables of marketing, fundraiser engagement, volunteers, ambassadors, and event day logistics (where applicable)

- Enhance and improve upon existing communications journeys for fundraisers, using knowledge of tested peer-to-peer fundraiser communication, gamification, and incentive-based strategies

Community Fundraising and General

- Monitor all fundraising activities to ensure compliance with fundraising guidelines, satisfaction of participants and/or partners, and resolution of any problems that arise

- Triage fundraising, business supporter, partnership, volunteer, speaker, and event queries and liaise with relevant internal teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in community fundraising or a related field

- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

- Analytical and problem-solving skills
