HR Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
In this role, you will work closely with the executive team and various departments to enhance the organization's human resources practices. You will provide expert advice and manage general HR inquiries, playing a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the success of impactful initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing employee relations policies, processes, and procedures, as well as supporting the development and implementation of workforce planning strategies. By understanding the business's needs and challenges, you will help equip and support leaders in achieving strategic goals, fostering an engaged workforce, and ensuring the fair and effective delivery of people-related projects.

Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in human resources, psychology, business, or a related field, or have equivalent experience in a busy HR role. A solid understanding of workplace relations legislation and industrial processes is essential. You should have proven problem-solving abilities that have led to effective employee relations solutions, along with the capacity to influence, lead, coach, and motivate others. Experience in interpreting industrial instruments and legislation, providing performance management advice, and conducting complex investigations is necessary. You should also be adept at leading change management initiatives in challenging environments. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, effective communication, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity are crucial. Familiarity with online meeting platforms and Office365 is required, and knowledge of the disability support sector is a plus.
